Ragnar Relay So Cal 2014 Experience

This is one of our most popular races in the series for a big reason - the course is spectacular! Running under the stars at night, seeing your team at three beach exchange points and finishing under the sun is a great way to celebrate with your friends. Huntington Beach, the Pacific Coast and a big party at the finish line await you and your fellow runners in Downtown San Diego.

I ran with team Road Runner Sports Ultra Team. We had great team and ran a good relay race. We placed second among Ultra teams and fifth overall.

2014 Carlsbad 5000 Experience

Carlsbad 5000

This is a very well organized event. The course is fast but challenging. I've run this race a few times in the past and have always enjoyed the experience.

Here is a recap from The Carlsbad 5000:

I have to say that running a race in your hometown is always an advantage. Fortunately, I didn't have a lot of planning to do for this race. I relied on my normal warm-up routine. I started with my jog and running drills to loosen my body up. I was able to stay relaxed for the start.
